We were discussing homosexuality because of an allusion to it in the book we were reading, and several boys made comments such as, “That’s disgusting.” We got into the debate and eventually a boy admitted that he was terrified/disgusted when he was once sharing a taxi and the other male passenger made a pass at him. The lightbulb went off....

historian: over the last few years we have explored most parts of the prehistoric "the internet" and have come across a gathering of young adults called "tumblr".
historian: we discovered a large amount of "slash" which has lead us to believe that 99% of 21st century humans were homosexual. we do not yet understand how the species managed to surivive
historian: we also uncovered a never before seen language on "tumblr". Words and phrases such as "omg", "wat", "this shit cray" and "yolo" have been deciphered, but more complex sentences such as "dslfajsdlj no stop i can't evensldfjaldjaf" have yet to be understood
historian: evidence is emerging of an ancient religion known only as “meme.” Much like the Egyptians centuries before them, the people of the tumblr depicted their religious idols through picture-based tales. it seems these idols acted as guardians to particular emotions and experiences, one primary example being the “nyan cat.” informational sectors such as “know your meme” may have acted as centers of worship and learning for the people of the tumblr
